Eleanor Stephenson

Eleanor was born and raised in Bishops Stortford, England. She has a degree from Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. She’s worked with choreographers Richard Alston and Arielle Alexandra, as well as Orchestral Company City of London Sinfonia, during which Eleanor performed at venues such as The Barbican, Cadogan Hall, RADA and Buckingham Palace. 

 

She has also enjoyed a residency at Shawbrook Dance, Ireland with Dane Hurst, carrying out research and development for ‘Citizens’ a piece performed at Ignition Dance Festival and Têteà Tête opera festival 2017. Eleanor joined Jason Mabana Dance as an apprentice for Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017 and has been working as understudy for Rambert Company’s autumn tour of ‘A linha curva’, a piece by Israeli choreographer Itzic Galili.

 

Along side dance, Eleanor has recently founded her own small art business where she creates and sells both drawings and paintings of her local surroundings.
